When We Meditate…

When we meditate, we meet the edges of ourselves that we would otherwise bump up against throughout the day.

Here are some guideposts to meditate:

  • Soften the tension

  • Release the attachment

  • Breath deeply

  • Be gentle and kind to you

  • Notice: “Hmmm, this is how it is right now”

  • When you get lost, coming back slowly, again and again, with patience and a beginner’s mind

  • Hear your inner wisdom

  • Come back home

  • Practice not perfection

  • Spend as long as you need

  • Here you are
